Strathmore University
In 2014, the Bank approved a loan of up to KES 400 million to finance construction of an 8-level (Basement, Ground floor and 1st to 6th floors) building on the sponsors Madaraka, Nairobi West campus property. The building was to house the Strathmore Law School (SLS). The building was put in place to accommodate the growing number of enrolments as well as the projected future growth of the Strathmore Law School, which was by then operating from other buildings within the University since 2012.
Currently, the Law School attracts both local as well students from neighbouring countries including Congo DRC, Sudan, Tanzania and Rwanda which aspects contributes to regional integration.
