East African Economic Growth Buoyant and Outstripping Rest of Africa, says EADB Report 1.01 MB
Economic growth in the East Africa region in 2014 is expected to have outpaced Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) as a whole, and is forecast to accelerate over the next five years, according to a new report from the East African Development Bank (EADB).
The EADB’s Economic and Market Analysis for the third quarter of 2014 estimates growth for EAC partner states for the full year at 5.9%, compared with 5.1% for SSA.
